You can also buy them online as there are many websites that sell these medicines. These medicines are easy to use as you just have to follow the directions that are mentioned on the pack. How To Be Your Dog’s Leader

We have talked before about the importance of learning your dog’s psychology to be able to train him properly. Imagining the solutions just won’t do the trick.
Today we will show you what teaching your pet who the leader is. You have probably seen Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer, talk about you being the leader of the pack all the time. Well, that is exactly what I am talking about.
When you lead your dog you are communicating your leadership and at the same time, you are teaching him/her good manners. Keep in mind that the animal learns better when reinforced than when punished, and that is something very frequently forgotten when trying to train the animal.
Not all dogs respond the same way to all positive reinforcements, but one that hardly ever fails is food. Try to keep some sort of treat around at the beginning. This will be substituted later with praise and caresses and it will mean the same to your pet. Love is always the best reward!
There is also a very important point one must never forget. Dog owners also have to learn to be the leader of the pack. That does not necessarily come naturally to us, even though we think the opposite.
Forcing is not leading! Transmitting your knowledge of what you are doing to your dog in a calm way has always the best results. We are not trying to impose, but to teach.
Whatever you want to teach your dog has to be based on his/her respect for you and his/her desire to follow your lead.
If you are willing to take the necessary time to train your dog at the beginning, because you certainly want to have a well behaved pet, you must never forget that persistence is of the utmost importance. It is easy to get tired and to feel sometimes like you want “to throw in the towel”, but that way, do remember that you will always lose the fight!
If you have children, you probably know what I mean. Not even us humans learn anything the first time we try it. We have to repeat and repeat until it is embedded in our brain, so consider this every time you are faced with the need to give your dog the next lesson.
You will lead by example, so you have to learn to be a good leader first!…

Will There Be Pets in Heaven?

This topic has been debated time and time again. And the answer still seems to be a mystery. Some of us have pets that are considered family members and have brought love and attention to our lives. When we get home from work, they are always there to greet us with licks of love and wagging tails of delight or purrs of approval. Pets today come in all forms, such as: dogs, cats, fish, turtles, snakes, guinea pigs and the list goes on. Our children have grown so attached to their pets, that they may even treat them like a brother or sister. Unfortunately there comes a time when we all must die. And when a pet dies, do they go to heaven or not?
The Bible does not give an explicit teaching on whether pets or animals have souls or if they will go to heaven. But the Bible does say that both man and animals have the breath of life. Genesis 2:7 says, “the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” God shows us that man is a compound being, having a body and soul distinctly and separately created. And Genesis 1:30 says, “And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all creatures that move on the ground- everything that has the breath of life in it – I give every green plant for food. And it was so.” The difference between humans and animals is that man was made in the image of God and animals were not. We are capable of spirituality with our mind, our emotions and our will or choices. Genesis 1:26-27 says, “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” We have a part of our being that will continue even after death. Since animals were not created in the image of God and are not capable of spirituality, this difference could mean that pets do not continue in existence after death or go to heaven.
Because the Bible doesn’t really speak on this subject, we should consider that when God created animals in Genesis 1:25, he said “they were good.” When the new earth and heaven form, we could find animals there. Because of his good creation, he may not want them destroyed. During the millennial or thousand year kingdom, Isaiah 11:6-9 says, “The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down and the yearling together, and a little child will lead them. The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The infant will play near the hole of the cobra, and the young child put his hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” This scripture suggests that animal life will exist during this time.
We don’t know all of what God’s plan will be concerning our pets in heaven. We would love to know that our pets, that we loved so dearly here on earth, will dwell forever with us in heaven. But who knows? Because our God is a just God, whatever decision He makes on this issue, will be in complete agreement with His will in heaven.…

What Healthy Food Should Dogs Be Fed?

Feeding a dog should be taken with seriousness and a careful eye in reading ingredients and a strong backing of nutrient knowledge. Whatever food is given to the dog will later on manifest itself either through a healthy response of strength and energy or a downward turn of weakness and poor appearance. As people are concerned with what goes into their bodies, the same should carry to their pets. Probably the very basic rule of feeding a dog is “do not feed your dog something you would not eat yourself.” Although it must be kept in mind that not all human foods are good for dogs.

Scanning or going over the small print of ingredients on canned products may be helpful to a certain point but it would even be better to know what should go into a healthy meal. Experts have come to a consensus that the best ratio of food is 40% meats, 50% veggies and 10% carbohydrates or even grains. Meats found in canned goods have already been pre-cooked and contain the protein needed by dogs. One must take note of what brands are certified by the animal health ministry of what should or should not be in dog food. Some cheaper brands may throw chicken beaks into the mix which is considered to be indigestible. Cheaper foods are known to add fillers to give more weight and volume into the cans but these fillers may consist of other foods that dogs may be allergic to such as corn or wheat. Grains are much more preferred due to its optimum fiber content to meet the digestive needs. Again, careful reading of the ingredients is needed for the first items may be meats but if careless owners just toss it in the trolley, they missed the other items that are more fillers.

How about playing it safe and sticking with veggies since meats may even cost more? A sound idea however dogs need the animal protein to be healthy as well as to enjoy their food. Although a vegetarian diet is possible, dogs may not take to it as well as people do. When introducing new foods to the dog, it is a good move to see how it comes out later on. The feces of the dog should be firm not loose nor should it have blood or mucus.

Preservatives are present in canned foods but it would be wise to avoid chemicals such as BHA, BHT and Ethoxyquin for they may give cancer. Overall, the one of the best advice is to opt for the known brands as well as consulting with the dog’s veterinarian for more additional information that a printed can or media can give.…

How Does Animal Communication Work? Ask Your Dog

The work of animal communication has become more widely recognized and accepted in recent decades. The successes these practitioners enjoy in diagnosing and resolving problems with various animals has gradually won over the skepticism. Even so, the ability to understand the thoughts and feelings of animals is usually considered a rare and esoteric gift. In reality, the capacity to commune with other creatures in this way is innate within all of us. It is part of our birthright.
For many of us there are two primary factors inhibiting our ability to commune with the animals. The first is the conditioning we receive from a culture that doesn’t believe such a thing is possible. Children will often report on the thoughts and feelings of animals because they have no reason to believe such communications can’t occur. By the time we reach adulthood, many of us have learned to doubt. Secondly, we are inhibited by many of the limiting beliefs we cling to concerning animals in general. All too often we consider them to be simple, unintelligent, and incapable of expressing sophisticated thoughts or emotions.
Animal communicators insist that animals commune telepathically with humans all the time. But so long as our cultural conditioning hampers us, we remain closed off from receiving their messages. If we want to understand our pets and other animals, we need to first examine and expand our belief systems enough to consider such communications possible. Then our own openness will allow the miracle to happen.
Many people who have experienced success with animal communication have reported receiving messages in a variety of ways. Some register physical sensations. Others receive “concepts” that they are then able to translate into words. Still others may hear things, or “just know” facts about particular animals without registering anything in a sensory way.
Tuning our minds to animals involves being open to an extent that many of us avoid in our daily lives. Our world often overloads us with stimuli – noise, speed, overcrowding. We learn to shut off or minimize much of this in order to function. If we want to understand the other creatures with which we share this planet then we have to give up some of this protective shielding and learn to trust our inner senses and perceptions again.
If we treat animals as aware, responsive and intelligent beings, they are more likely to want to communicate with us as well. They are quite conscious of our thoughts and feelings about them. They respond in their own distinctive ways.
So then the key to good animal communication (according to my dog Tucker) is a combination of believing in the possibility of it; opening ourselves – both mentally and emotionally – to the process, and having respect and loving regard for the animals we exchange our thoughts and feelings with.…
